These terms apply to your use of Line Slope Finder (lineslope.com), including the Slope Finder, Intersection Finder, Quadratic Solver and Line of Best Fit tools, and the lessons and practice problems. By using the site you agree to them. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Using the site
Line Slope Finder is free to use for personal study, homework help, tutoring and teaching. You may:
- use the tools as often as you like;
- link to any page, including links to a tool with your own points or equations filled in;
- print or project pages to use in a lesson or study session.
You may not:
- copy or republish the lessons, diagrams or tools on another website or in a product you sell without our written permission;
- use automated tools to scrape the site, or send traffic that puts unreasonable load on it;
- interfere with the site’s security or its ads, including by clicking ads on purpose or encouraging others to.
Accuracy
We check the tools and lessons carefully, but mistakes can happen. The answers are provided for learning and are not guaranteed to be correct or complete. Check important results yourself, and follow your teacher’s or exam board’s methods where they differ from ours. See the Disclaimer for more.
Your data
The tools run in your browser, and the numbers and photos you enter are not uploaded to us. The Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit, including by Google’s advertising and analytics services.
Content and ownership
The lessons, worked examples, diagrams, practice problems and tool code on this site belong to JABsoft, which runs Line Slope Finder, unless stated otherwise. Mathematical facts and methods belong to everyone; our way of explaining and presenting them is protected by copyright.
Advertising and links
The site shows ads from Google AdSense, which keep it free. We don’t choose the individual ads and don’t endorse the products advertised. Links to other websites are provided for convenience, and we aren’t responsible for their content.
Availability
We aim to keep the site running, but we may change, pause or remove any part of it at any time without notice.
Limitation of liability
The site is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. As far as the law allows, Line Slope Finder is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the site or reliance on its results, including lost marks or grades. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
